  This is not really a experience but more of a History Lesson about this Church Building & The Church Properties for it.
  
  Back in the 1990's this Church was known as St. John's Catholic Church. it is the same Church Building as it is now.
  
  St. John's also had a Catholic School right across the street from The Church known as St. John's Catholic School where the Parking Lot is know for the Church. I used to go to Catholic School there for a while before I transferred to another School. I remember that the Tuition was incredibly expensive. I can't believe that they tore down the Catholic School & turned it into a Parking Lot.
  
  Also the place that is West of The Church used to be St. John's Catholic Church Rectory. Now the Rectory is St. John's Assisted Living Place.
  
  Also the built a New School on the East Side of The Old St. John's Catholic Church.
  
  Later on in the early 2000's, St. John's Catholic Church became St. John's Lutheran Church. Now it is known as Devine Mercy Parish.
  
  If you look in the Old Phone Books from The 1990's at The Downtown Library in Milwaukee... not The South Milwaukee Library... but The Milwaukee Library... you will see the listings for The Old St. John's Catholic Church as well as The Old St.John's Catholic School.
  
  I actually still have my Catholic School Books from when St. John's Catholic School was there.
  
  I am not sure how The Divine Mercy Parish is because I don't go there at all... but I had to give it at least 1 Star in order to comment on this & add the History of it.

  The last remaining Catholic Church school in South Milwaukee , voting is done in their gymnasium

  Very loving and caring priests and parishioners.Religious education director Amenda Decker is a great person. I really experienced love and respect in this church.
